WORKING LIFE.
blogging frm workplace..

well well, its been roughly a week plus working in the company im attached to. seeing alot of things that i used to be hearing! reality check :)

trying to fit into the company's less unfriendly culture where everyone is busy with their own stuff. i miss those DTMers days where we open up the classroom door greeting each other good morning, small talks here n there. here at my current workplace, u wont see much of that, to be precise, u see NONE!

they can sing birthday song for collegue somewhere within ur sight, cut the birthday cake and not offer u. ehh, not like im gian peng la! but at least offer isn't it? i know i'll kindly say no.. but offering wouldn't hurt.

yeah, much more to add on to the list to support my statement of "unfriendly environment". of course, with the not-so-good-things, u will have the better things to be happy abt.. ive got a very nice boss! not my direct boss but the sales manager. he's been really nice to lil request of leaving early for my driving lesson and also longer lunch break for Aliah's mini birthday celebration. definitely hope to work more with him in this yr ahead. and not forgetting the working friends im with! lunchtime are never bored ;)

what have a learn so far? nothing much but really hoping for more when the events draws near..
met Sher on the train for yst n today heard updates that Mei is in the travel agency with Justin doing full time, heard abt benny and brand being busy and learning much at Carrey Hills. sounds good! i guess i muz be the less busy one as u can see.. emailing weiching & sher during working hours :p in order not to waste my time here, ive been reading up on the company stuff here n there to make my time more useful and productive!

okie dokie, time to get back to work!
more updates on personal life soon.
worklife isn't as exciting as i thought.
no no, to be precise is, AN INTERN'S WORKLIFE isn't as exciting as i thought.

a promise to self if im ever a manager/director myself - make an intern's life more productive and give them more opportunities. they are hungry to perform!

ending of with an email Aliah sent to us yst, titled "Privillege Joke" :

I tried adjusting my computer’s time to my watch timing. It’s a pretty simple no-brainer right? However I was prompted by my computer the following line, “You do not have the proper privilege level to change the System Time.”

What the hell?!

The line stumped me for a split second before I burst out laughing.

Do you actually need to be of a certain level to change our OWN computer time? It’s just changing of TIME not hacking into the system!

Jeez.

I suggest you go try and change your time today.
